I’m Monica Oglesby, the proud owner of BEACHMUA and the face of my brand.
I am a Barranquilla, Colombia native who has called the United States home for over 35 years and has been in the makeup world since 2019.
My primary focus is on-site bridal makeup, and it brings me immense joy to be a part of a bride’s special day. I consider it a privilege to do what I love, and I look forward to seeing where this journey takes me.
My Inspiration
I am continually inspired by the incredible women in my life, beginning with my beautiful daughter, Ariel, and now my granddaughter Marina Alice. My goal is to help clients feel confident and beautiful by luxuriously elevating their natural beauty.

I do not have a service minimum. I specialize in intimate wedding settings and intentionally keep my bookings smaller to provide a personalized, relaxed experience. I personally accommodate up to four services total, including the bride. Larger parties may also be accommodated by adding one additional artist, subject to availability.

Absolutely! I do charge a travel fee based on mileage for locations outside of the Hampton Roads (7 cities) area. This is calculated on a per-mile basis, ensuring I can travel to your location while continuing to provide the same high level of service.

To secure your booking, a $200 deposit and a signed contract are required for bridal services. A 50% deposit is required for à la carte services.
